Fuzzy's Taco Shop Taqueria

I ordered a carnitas taco, and asked for no cheese. It came with cheese on it anyway. That was very disappointing. I also ordered cilantro rice. It was hard and crunchy. The only good thing was the black beans. Those were delicious.

Great Scott! The food servings are GINORMOUS. I think next time I go I will split a plate with my partner, that's how huge! I got the brisket nachos, I only finished half of them but definitely amazing and filling. The queso as usual was the perfection with which I measure other quesos by. My partner and I had no idea Minneapolis has a Fuzzys. We are transplants from Missouri and had thought Fuzzys a strictly Missouri thing. So while searching for a place to go for Valentines Day I stumbled on Fuzzys and squealed because it's been literally years, since I moved from Missouri, that I've had Fuzzys. I missed their queso. My partner was equally excited to find Fuzzys. Service was good, everyone was friendly and food arrived quickly. Literally everything I expect and want from Fuzzys.

I left a review when they first opened, but I thought I would leave an update today after a particularly nice visit. There are not a lot of places in the North Loop where you can have lunch for under $20, so Fuzzy's was already a great addition to the neighborhood, and while the food is good, the portion sizes are generous - especially the nachos. The queso and pico de gallo are also very flavorful. What really stood out for me today was how I had two employees check on me throughout my meal - as if it were a table service restaurant. It was a great lunch break! :)

Food was great! I had the egg, chorizo, cheese, and potato burrito. It was yummy. They have breakfast anytime. Friendly staff. Loved it.

Got a beef and chicken taco bar for 22 people. Everything from Fuzzy's went smoothly. I set up the order a week ahead and the food was ready when promised....they even loaded it into my truck for me. All I had to do was set out the food and enjoy it. Numerous toppings were provided and the food was excellent, although the beef brisket was better than the chicken. It was a little confusing with parking close to the door, but the staff also provided great instructions for parking just for pick-up.

The fish tempura tacos are great

I would say fuzzy taco is a definite taco Tuesday must have, but it is not the best tacos in the world. The atmospheres great. The staff is great. The food is so so. also remember to get the butt burning sauce and the margaritas — those slap.
