I had the el tipico carne asada and hibiscus drink. I don't think this drink is on the menu. Very delicious and the plate appears just as in the pictures. Got an empanada de maíz con pollo and a pupusas de frijol con queso to go. Excited to find a Honduran place in the Pittsburgh area. I like the flavors which are not typical as in what you would imagine. Neither are they spicy in themselves (add hot sauce if you want). The environment and service is very nice. My only drawback is that the dining area was cold. I know it is hard with so many cold days, but it is a downer for some people. I kept my coat on and enjoyed the food though. My family isn't into too many different flavors. I didn't hear anyone complain about the food though or that it was cold inside. I will definitely be back and hope to bring others to try it as well.
Empanadas are great, plantains are perfect would recommend to everyone. Absolutely delicious
Loved it! The empanadas were delicious. I liked the flour ones just a bit more, but both were great. I also had the shrimp with coconut milk, which was very good. The tamales were good too. The plantains were the best I've had anywhere else. We'll definitely be back again!
Very good food, nothing was cheaper out on and very authentic food. If I could give it mote stars I would 100%
