Fern, Flavors from the Garden

Vegan paradise! Came here with my wife for lunch and it was amazing! We shared the cobb salad and winter roll and they were both incredible. If we lived in Charlotte, we'd be here most every day.

The food and flavors are always great - unfortunately, we found a strand of hair in our burger, cinnamon rolls, and around the napkin that holds the silverware. That’s disgusting - the waitress was very dismissive and nonchalant. The chef was apologetic but this is unacceptable on so many levels. I will not be returning to this establishment. I believe kitchen staff and waiters should have their hair tied back - the restaurant is very small so the likelihood of hair transferring from the kitchen to the table is clearly likely as it occurred to me. I’m completely disgusted and disappointed!!

Wow! The food here is very special and anything with those fried oyster mushrooms is delicious. Everything I have tried on the menu is wonderful, and when I need to celebrate anything, Fern is where I want to go. Service was great as well. Also, one of my hard to impress vegan friends ate here, and even admitted it was better than anything he could make at home! High praise from him!

The Buddha bowl was out of this world delicious. Tastiest tofu I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were so flavorful! Super filling meal with delicious, healthy ingredients. Everything seemed fresh. Very cute place; I recommend making reservations since the seating space is small.
