131 MAIN Restaurant

Located in Southpark, North Carolina, 131 Main, I was hungry and walking so I ducked in. This spot has a rustic charm ambience with big wood beams and leather booths. I had the Tuna Tartare Tower and Crab Cake Salad. The tuna was grade A tuna and the crab cake was lump crab. Both delicious. What stood out was the impeccable service provided by the knowledgeable hostess, who effortlessly recited the specials from memory. It was impressive. Some more highlights include patio firepits and an open kitchen to watch all the action. Great dining experience.

Steak amazing! Corn bread was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Phenomenal dining experience... can't miss Charlotte restaurant. Just went back to this restaurant a second time...simply amazing!!!

Amazing food! The crab cakes were immaculate, with an amazing sauce that perfectly highlighted the cake's flavor. I liked them so much I ordered a second one after my entree. Their seasonal dessert, the strawberry shortcake, made a delicious spoonful with all of it's ingredients and the cappuccino I had with it was perfect! Their ribs, for my entree, had a lovely taste and I enjoyed the fries thoroughly. The service was amazing, as well. I genuinely thought to myself after eating the ribs "I could use a warm towel for my hands," and they came by and gave me one a minute later! The server, Chris, was incredible and so were his recommendations. He was extremely polite and professional, one of the best servers I've had at a restaurant! I don't live in this area, but I would drive all the way across town again just to try out their dinner menu!

Excellent experience. Loved how everything was wonderful, and my group enjoyed the entire experience. Loved the open concept of the dining room. Lots to see and the mood was just right for a Tuesday night. Presentation of the food could have been more consistent. My meal was the most colorful at the table while the others looked very brown. Starters looked like they were just thrown on the plate. My meal was gorgeous and tasted outstanding. Definitely would order it again. Service was great. Very Mello, knowledgeable, and helpful.
