The food was delicious . I have shrimp over rice with cheese sauce. The waiter was friendly and welcoming. I will be back.

I am from Statesboro, and when I get to come back, I always try to eat at El Sombrero. This was the worst service I have ever had. My order was wrong and missing parts of it. Drinks stayed empty. And he took so long to even come back to our table, and that was only when we got his attention. Very disappointing !! Once I got my food back the second time, it tasted good.

For the price and atmosphere of the place I think it deserves more attention. The service here is good but it may take a bit to actually get food. For the price paid the food is good and overall good experience. Would definitely recommend for a small gathering or family dinner.
