El Primo's Mexican Grill & Cantina

This is by far the worst restaurant I've been to. Service is a joke. It's run by teenagers that don't care with managers that care even less. No organization, no streamlined service, they're running around like headless chickens trying to seat parties with clearly empty tables. It's not just me or something wrong with the day either: I had a friend that was hired here as a line cook, but apparently their management completely forgot they hired someone new, didn't get them in the system at all. Was promised to be placed in the system the next day but never got any further communication and ended up getting a free day of labor out of them, if this is any help to knowing what the people running this sham of a restaurant is like. Oh, and no they never fixed this. Didn't even give a paycheck for the one day. My friend was so irritated they didn't come back, tried to call for at least one day of wages, but considering the restaurant didn't care or ever reply? "Incompetent" is an understatement. Food is so subpar, even for Tex Mex, it's terribly flavorless and not fresh. Cheese is gooey and not in the good way. The drinks are okay and the restaurant is well decorated enough with a nice atmosphere, but I'm gonna be honest with you, the only reason this place has the business it does is it's the closest thing Mansfield locals have to a bar. Pathetic!

Good service great food

First time eating at this establishment and the service & food was phenomenal. We will be coming back soon.

Amazing atmosphere, live music on Fridays, we had a couple of beers and some tacos, they were great.

We are regulars here and love it, but last night for Valentine’s Day was exceptional! Great food and usual great service with extra touches for atmosphere and dessert options. Tony prepared a fabulous table-side flambé presentation Coffee El Diablo that was entertaining and delicious. Parking: Parking can be tough but usually offer free valet parking. Kid-friendliness: They have an arcade and bounce house for the kids.

Our server Mike was excellent. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

I think this place wouldn’t be as highly rated if there was something in close proximity to compete. food is mediocre prices are higher than the food is worth or tastes interior decor is random from nicer on the left to barnominium on the right staff are ho-hum There are plenty other locally owned places with an all around better experience. I was hoping to find it’d live up to its reviews. Nah, it didn’t.

The quality of food and drink is top-notch. Unique flavors.
