Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

They are permanently closed and google refuses to mark as so very annoying.

I drove all the way over here and they were closed when their hours said they should be open.

This place has been closed for months. Enjoyed it while it was open, but they closed it without explanation. Time to update or remove the website.

Is this place closed for good? Too bad if so. They had some good, affordable offerings. Their answering machine gives no details and it's too far for me to routinely drive by to check on the ongoing "electrical issues".

Hate when the drink's taste like seafood I keep doing this, chasing Acme's grilled oysters ( New Orleans ) and I'm disappointed every single time. I gotta stop this. My oyster were not on point. I was actually refunded and I left.

Grilled oysters are losers - tasted reheated and not grilled. Minus two stars. What the Crab up the street towards the lake is a better option locally for grilled oysters. Fish City Grill is also an option for grilled oysters that at least taste grilled. Shrimp and grits dish is the winner dish. The grits were burnt, but I won't subtract another star because the service was actually great and besides that, it is the best shrimp & grits I have had so far in the DFW area (it doesn't beat the dishes in NOLA, but whatever premade jar in the kitchen they're cheating with is good enough).

I had a WONDERFUL time there! The food was absolutely amazing. I got the lobster grilled cheese (it has a fun name I just don’t remember it). I also had a great drink, it was similar to a long island ice tea, but with rum. You can’t go wrong! Our server did amazing, I came with a large group and she had no troubles keeping up. Can’t wait to go back, hopefully they bring one to the Dallas area soon!!!

Food was delicious!! Bartender provided excellent service!!

Food ok but not great. Sausage is not good. Shrimp was OK. Have not tried crab yet, but will go back and try when they open back up.

Food was good three weeks ago but the last two visits has a sign on the door citing "Electrical issues". While I understand the place may have issues, I would think that at the very least they would either answer the phone or have a voice mail alerting customers but no, the voicemail states it's full and no indication they're closed. Will not come back.
