The food is great, and authentic. It's tough to find good Veal Parmigiano these days and they have some. They don't list a Veal Parm sub on their menu, but they were happy to make me one when I asked. And their marinara sauce is really good. It's not my moms, but it's the best I've had at a small restaurant. And it's a nice place to take a date and not have to spend $180 on a quality meal and a pleasant atmosphere. Great food, wine and service. And the bread and oil they serve every table is delicious. You'll always get extra points from me for a basket of delicious bread with some quality evoo and herbs to dip it in.
Their hosts are incompetent children who let their friends steal pickup orders. They will let their friends take orders they did NOT pay for, and then try to accuse the real customers of stealing their own orders when they go to pick them up. Over $100 food that I ordered was stolen, and they really had the balls to try and refuse to remake or refund my order. When I asked for a description of who stole the order so I could relay it to the police to "help them", they had my food remade. Then short-after the male host was texting away to one of his friends with absolute panic on his face. When I went outside to wait for them to remake my order, a teenager who was outside the restaurant took off up the sidewalk. Shoutout to Vanessa with her covid cough, and her little bratty diversity hire coworker that thinks he's slick. She and he BOTH let their friends steal orders. Back of house needs to pay more attention and fire their FOH ASAP.
I had dinner there tonight with my friend who has serious health issues and the staff was SO incredibly kind and accommodating. I was so grateful for all their help and grace. The food was delicious too! I highly recommend. Thank you!
Went there when it wasn’t busy. Took our orders within 10 mins but didn’t get the appetizers an hour later. Our food came out around 45 to an hour after the apps. The portions were too small, not good at all. For the apps we got eggplant rolls & calamari. The eggplant was decent, but the calamari wasn’t fresh. They used frozen ones, so it came out chewy and just gross all together. For our main we got linguine shrimp scampi & veal saltimbocca. The veal was decent but the rest of the plate wasn’t good. It didn’t get eaten. The wine wasn’t cooked off right so we got a little buzz from it. (I’m pregnant & choose not to drink any alcohol. Sucks that it was in the meal.) The linguine was pretty good, had great flavor but the shrimp tasted fishy. The service there was okay. I did see a woman there put her fingers in a wine glass to bring it down from the cup hangers(?) & pour wine into it.
Waited about 30-45 min for appetizers. Ordered calamari and eggplant rolls. Calamari was chewy and tasted frozen . Eggplant was good. Waited another 45 mins for the entree. I could have made the veal Marsala 10 times better at home. Spent 90$ . Was not worth a v day dinner. I should of waited for Rinos in east Boston
