Dos Margaritas - Hickory Flat

Service was good. But, the food was awful! We are new to the area and looking for decent Mexican food. This was not it. I got tacos and an enchilada. The first sign that something wasn't right was when the server told me they only serve ground beef. What in the white people taco night?? They were hardshell tacos and tasted like air. No seasoning at all. I had high hopes for the enchilada. That is hard to mess up. But, it was made with white American cheese!!! I am still haunted by the food. I couldn't eat it. I heard great things about the margaritas. But, mine was basically just watered down pre-made mix. The only decent thing was the chips and salsa. Don't waste your time and money like I did.

This place is literally criminally charging people, and I do mean illegally. Paid $90 for three entrees, two kids meals and a small cheese dip, no drinks just water. We had a mandatory 20% gratuity because we had a table of !!!5!!!, a family of 5, not 5 separate orders. Then they charged us for using a credit card. All this is legal, however scummy, but what is not legal is how they did it. They gave us a receipt for the "total", but after we charged our card the total changed.

Service and food are great !!!

Food was good. Ordered bowl which I liked it with veggies and chips and salsa were ok. Not so great salsa but ok. Hot sauce for chips gave good kick

Visiting relatives in the area. First time visit and definitely was not disappointed. Excellent service and wonderfully prepared and tasty food!!! I had steak & shrimp fajitas and the lunch portion left me feeling extremely well fed. Folks here know how to cook it. My wife had mini Chimichangas and really enjoyed them - some of the best ever she said, and that's her "go to" order at most places like this. Highly recommend.

I love everything about Dos Margaritas except for I feel like the prices are a little high :-) but I guess that's what you get for great food and service.
