Cant decide which was worse - food or service! If you have a taste for decent ramen this is not the place for you.
This is probably the worst dining experience in 7 years of living in Durham. Exceptionally horrible food and service!
Nice looking and friendly service, but extremely underwhelming ramen. This lunch, my party of 6 tried multiple varieties and each broth tasted watered down. When I requested soy sauce to add, the server brought out soup base for everybody making me feel like that is a common request. This is my second go at Dashi but I can't recommend the ramen. Presentation of the food was nice, and the wings were delicious!
I'm not big on places like this as I like variety, however I was very impressed with the taste of the Ramen. I ordered the Miso Ramen and was very impressed!
Trendy little restaurant that’s perfect for dinner before a DPAC show! ❤️ Food was delicious and our waiter was really nice.
The service was abysmal - the staff was rude: "I only have two hands" and "Only ask stuff from me or it gets confusing." We were the only diners at this point - not sure how things were that confusing. The ambience was uninviting and we felt like a burden to the staff. The tempura was burnt, but the potato inside of it was raw. The cauliflower dish was soggy and the veg ramen was one dimensional. Overall 2/10 experience It was ridiculously expensive for what it was.
Overpriced and very disappointing taste wise. We ordered Ramen and Takoyaki inspired appetizer. The appetizer was mockery in the name of Takoyaki. Ramen was very mediocre.
The drinks were pretty good, as was the edamame and dumplings. We got two different ramen dishes and both agreed they were overly salty and bland. The small restaurant gets quite loud, and it was hard to hear the person sitting directly across from me. Would not come back.
