We’ve dined at Darvish twice now. Both times we had great service, Ferdoos is the best! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Literally feels like you are in your Persian family member’s home having a traditional dish surrounded by your best friends and family - highly recommend!

I hosted a work dinner at Darvish and appreciated how attentive Carlos was in the lead up to the dinner and Mahir was during the dinner. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend for other large groups choosing to dine in the Dupont neighborhood.

Great food, great atmosphere ! We didn’t have reservations and had to wait for 30 min for a table of 2 on a Sunday night . We ordered the vodka cocktail, lamb shank and saffron rice . Portions were good for 2 people and cocktail was so balanced. I highly recommend this place

Just down from my hotel, there’s a Persian restaurant called Darvish. It wasn’t here in this form when I lived in the city, though its essence—its cozy charm—remains remarkably familiar. Stepping inside feels like entering someone’s home, an intimate, welcoming space. Tonight, I’m having Shishlik—succulent grilled lamb chops—with fragrant basmati rice and soft bazari bread, alongside an earthy eggplant dip. The meal is more than satisfying; it’s evocative. Yaser, an excellent waiter, guided the experience with thoughtful recommendations and genuine hospitality, making the evening even more memorable.

Amazing atmosphere and vibes. It totally gives you Iran’s nostalgic vibes, prior to the revolution. Food quality was decent, a little pricey. The best part was the fresh barbari bread serving before the appetizer. The service and vibes were impressing.
