Cuerno Bravo Steakhouse

I had higher expectations for this restaurant. Granted we went on Valentines Day with a reservation made a month in advance, we still waited 30 minutes for a table. There were people sat before us that came in after us and the hostess had to double check with us that we were checked in a second time before finally seating us. We were sat in the back room which was nice to get away from the hustle of the main dining area, but it was poor ambiance and loud music. It was hard to have an intimate conversation and the lights kept turning off. We’re seasoned steak house goers, we love high quality cuts of meat. The food was ok, but the steaks were amazing. The chefs saved the night with the steaks. My boyfriend also enjoyed the bone marrow and seemed very pleased with it. The queso and the baked potato were underwhelming. Pro tip: don’t get a fabulous steak and then eat the poor quality meat of the dry baked potato, it was a disappointing to my taste buds after such perfection. Our server was busy, but fairly attentive although he forgot the old fashion we ordered. I wasn’t impressed, wasn’t overly disappointed, but I definitely wouldn’t run back there to have it again. But if you do want a good steak, that would be the only reason to go in my opinion.

This place has an Ugly Section. We were seated in a room in the back of the restaurant by the restrooms. The steak almost makes up for the depressing ambiance, but I will most likely not patronize again.

Good service. Great steak. The only thing lacking was beer choice...no Mexican beers.

Cuerno Bravo was amazing! From the ambiance when you walk in to the filet flight, damn this was an experience! It was busy from open with people, including myself, waiting to get in... get yourself a reservation. We sat near the kitchen and watched the magic happen!!!!

Went here for a birthday dinner after receiving recommendations from two separate friends, and we were NOT disappointed. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the drinks perfect, and our server (Christian) was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again soon!

Wow, what a great place to go to. Lower prices than elgoucho but lower grade environment. Food was the best though and value goodness
