Favorite place for Asian ice treats!
I like this place and want some desserts after eating at the Cambodian and Chinese Restaurants nearby. There is a large selection of drinks and desserts, but there are not enough pictures to go off. I don't know what to order, likewise with my wife. I think if there were more pictures on the wall, it would make the order much easier for us. Well, I took some pictures of the large selection of drinks they have. I hope it'll help.
This place is one of a kind in Tacoma! They do great shaved thin sorbets and my son loved the snow cones here. Owner of the place is super nice. I bring my friends here and my family for lots of frozen treats. They actually use real and fresh fruits in their menu items. Let it snow is definitely the best snow cone places in Tacoma, I’ve been coming here for all my shaved ice needs for almost 2 years and always had an amazing experience. The size of their treats will blow you away. How they fit that much shaved ice in one cup is beyond me. You can barely eat it
I've been meaning to write this review for about a month. Unlike most things, it hasn't slipped my mind completely, because my experience at let it snow was so earth shattering-in the best way!!! absolutely phenomenal!!! I ordered the tie-dye ( thai dye?) shaved ice, And I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best thing i've ordered, in several years-PERIOD! Across all genres and categories of cuisine! I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the desert- And having lived overseas in Asia for several years, And having visited every hawaiian island at least once, I like to think of myself as a educated connoisseur! The texture of the shaved ice was spot on - exactly what it's meant to be! Hawaiian shaved ice. It's nothing like it's a strange cousin. The snow cone and if you've never had a chance to experience it. This location would be a great place to do so because they nail it on the head! The ice flakes were properly thin- Eating it gives you the illusion that you're eating something Much more rich and decadent than frozen water. In fact, I suspect that he actually made the ice from frozen Thai iced tea. But I didn't watch him assemble my treat, so I can't say for sure. And even if I had ordered another flavor where the ice was Simply frozen water, im positive a similar effect would have been achieved, due to the perfect consistency of the ice itself. The friuty pebbles , Mochi and drizzle of sweet condensed milk Paired harmoniously with the flavor of the thai iced tea. The dish was very playful and imaginative but actually worked, rather than just being quirky. I was so impressed. I don't live near this place at all, any more. But I will definitely go out of my way to stop here and have a treat! I wish them all the success in the world. And I hope they stay in business forever, because I have yet to find another place like it in this area. And i'm dying to further explore their menu!!!! If you're contemplating going here. Stop thinking about it and just go, you won't regret it!!!!!!
Fantastic little dessert spot!
I love the shaved ice here!
They have LOTS of great stuff on their menu. I have my preferred favorites but I'm slowly trying all of them. Well, most of them (due to food allergies).
