Service was great!

Wonderful experience today! Great service and when we asked for biscuits and apple butter they were brought out right away with no fuss or strange looks. They were FREE like it has always been at CB. Plenty of staff here and great feeling atmosphere. Much better than Rock Hill location which is very understaffed.

I was meeting someone but as it turned out she had an emergency that prevented her from joining me. I was greeted at the checkin desk and I indicated I was expecting a lady and we would like to sit close to the fireplace. I was seated by an extremely warm and friendly man right in front of the fireplace! My waitress Paula came to the table and I told her I was expecting a friend and I would just have a coffee for now. Paula was very Positive and attentive to me as a half hour passed and I wasn’t able to contact my friend! I told Paula I was going to order that apparently my friend was detained by something. Paula was very concerned as was I but I proceeded to order my lunch , as I had a meeting in a bit that I had already postponed by an hour . So I ordered Hamburger Steak smothered with onions and gravy with mashed potatoes, Green Beans, and MacnCheese, and three corn muffins.The gentleman from the front desk checked with me several times and I Thanked him for his concern. In a minimal amount of time, Paula brought my meal and expressed concern about my friend and I said, it must be important. And I began eating! I’m big on my food being hot when served and everything I was served was hot! I was surprised at how awesome everything was and I asked Paula if I could see the manager and she went to get him. Very Quickly he appeared and introduced himself , I told him, I wish I could tell you my meal and my waitress were Excellent, But I Can’t (his face dropped) and I proceeded with Because my food and my waitress Paula were Way Better than That! He said you got me on that ! I told him Paula should get another Star ⭐️ on her Apron for Customer Satisfaction! Oh by the way my friend had to take her dog to the Vet and she was so nervous she forgot about our Lunch Date. I don’t blame her, We love our Pets just like Family. So, Go to Cracker barrel and if you’re Lucky You will meet Paula and have an Awesome Experience!

First the parking area and sidewalk was strewn with cigarette butts, plastic bags and a blue medical glove. Restaurant was not busy. My husband on a cane needed to sit asap. When we did sit close to exit our waiter seemed angry. We tried to be very nice to change his mood, but he was not good at customer service. When our food came we asked for napkins and butter, none came. I went to kitchen entrance and asked for both and was given napkins, then I asked again for butter and finally got it. Our waiter left the building, not sure why. In the meantime 2 other customers left before they received their food and he was hoppin mad that they left. Parking: Dirty and trash ridden.
