Colonial Coffee Shop

Great service, reasonable pricing for a very full serving on breakfast items. Our first time visiting and will surely visit again on our next trip. Parking: Front door lot.

We love visiting new (to us) places, so this weekend it was Colonial Coffee. We had breakfast there on Sunday morning around 9:30am. We had a small wait, which was no issue at all. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits, while my husband had the Belgian waffle. Both meals were delicious! My home fries were cold, but they were still decent. Our waitress was very polite but made us feel rushed. We would have loved a second cup of coffee after our meal, as we normally do, but the table next to us was asked to wrap it up and leave because they sat there too long. We were quite flabbergasted. The woman who asked them to leave appeared to be the owner. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around this. I don’t know how long they were there, but I do know from the time we sat down, we felt rushed. I don’t like feeling like a number at a business, and that’s exactly how we felt. I want to sit down with my husband and relax, while enjoying a meal. This experience was a first for us, and it will also be a last.

The Feta Cheese Omlet served with Pita bread and home fries is the best, and I keep coming back for more!

Great food and service for a good price! We went for breakfast and I ordered the feta cheese omelet with home fries and pita bread. It was absolutely delicious! Features: After each customer leaves, they wipe down the seats and tables.
