Today for my first time ever I had food from a Chick fil A that wasn’t up to their standard. I have eaten at this location several times and it’s always been excellent. Not so today. Now mind you it wasn’t during rush hour and I’m sure there was food that had been fixed for lunch and was put under a warmer. Our fries wasn’t crispy and hot but barely warm and heavy, like a left over taste. The sandwich was tough and was definitely a leftover sandwich. I asked our server if we could get some fresh fries that were hot. Didn’t mention the sandwich. She said sure and went to her manager. They discussed this and talked to the guys fixing the fries. She brought two new orders of fries and they were steaming hot and crispy, or so i thought. The tops few fries were but underneath those were more soggy limp fries. They were trying to get rid of those soggy fries and they blatantly served me those soggy fries hid under a few fresh ones. I could have cried not so much because of the fries but because a reputable company had placed itself on the same level of other fast food chains.
Chick-fil-A used to be awesome. They had the best chicken and chicken sandwiches around. After the recent change in the type of chicken that they buy, the quality and taste has gone downhill rapidly. It has is disgusting now and the breasts are smaller. I am extremely disappointed and will not be eating at Chick-fil-A anymore because of this. I will be calling corporate and expressing my disappointment in chick-fil-a. This particular restaurant is not the problem. It is the changes that corporate decided to implement. The quality is just not there anymore.
Chicken nuggets were tough. I got diet lemonade large no ice and they still messed it up twice. There was ice and sweet no diet. Drove 5 miles to get a correct meal for $25.00. No good.
