Excellent food and service! Manager Lewis is great, very personable and professional. Our waitress Shayne was excellent and also very personable. Will definitely be back again.

Upon arrival the manager, Mr. Lewis McKisset, greeted us as we were family. Our waitress Shayne was most pleasant, attentive and efficient. Her warm personality made it a pleasure to dine at ease knowing we were taken care of.

A Perfect Birthday Dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak DC We celebrated my birthday at Charlie Palmer Steak in DC and it was unforgettable. The steaks were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender. My ribeye was simply divine, and the sides, especially the mashed potatoes and asparagus, were just as indulgent - even my kids loved the asparagus! The staff was attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a special occasion. To top it off, they surprised us with a delicious birthday dessert, making the night even more memorable. I have to shout out Danny the sommelier and Shayne our server who went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience! We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know. For a steak lover, this is the place to be—an absolute must for any celebration!

Thank you, Charlie Palmer Steak and dining room manager Lewis McKisset for an amazing evening with my niece… (and my apologies for the delay in posting this). Although we were only two people attending an event of over 100 guests, you made us feel incredibly special. I still can’t believe you found a way for us to take pictures overlooking the Capitol even though the rooftop terrace was closed for construction – and then you came in on your day off to return an item we had accidentally left behind. Lewis, the food was delicious – that is never a surprise – but the level of personal customer service, especially during an event of that size, was truly extraordinary! Thank you for enabling me to me show my niece what a five-star experience truly looks like.

Was in Friday night, September 27, 2024. Owen was our server fantastic enjoyed the night. Food was excellent however there was a mistake on the bill. I have called and left message three times and not heard from anybody would like to hear from management to correct The charge that is on the bill 48006881269 Marty

We went here for restaurant week and we look forward to making the trip in the future. Nestled across the street from the capital building, there wasnt one thing we were disappointed with. I'm normally the guy that says "its a steakhouse! Why are you getting fish?!?" But the rockfish looked like something right up my alley so I couldn't resist. My wife and kiddo grabbed the steak frites and thoroughly enjoyed the beef and fries. We also went off the restaurant week menu and ordered the beef skewers which my kiddo was ready to drink the dipping sauce. Highly recommend and we will be back. FYI casual dress is acceptable, while we went business casual, we saw full suits and tshirts and jeans. Enjoy!

Shayne was amazing!

Had friends in from S.D. We chose to eat here because I read that members of Congress dine here. Our food was delicious. The steak was melty, tender yum. The service was spectacular. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The bartender was very friendly. The hostess was helpful and has a nuce smile. The place was elegant. We felt a bit under dressed, but we were treated wonderfully. And to top off our meal, we saw a senator from South Dakota and one from Utah. It was pricey but we knew that going in and weren't disappointed with our experience. I'll go back for sure.

Took a very long time to order and receive food. Should not take 2.5 hours for dinner.

Dear Daughter and I went to Charlie Palmers for a leisurely lunch before leaving the DC area. The restaurant was selected solely based on reviews. The reviews were dead on! The staff is professional and accommodating from the moment we entered the door. They have a secure area to hold luggage for those who may need it. Lunch was an order of the filet mignon with lobster (shell removed in the kitchen. Thank you!) and a steak salad. The steak in the salad was the best filet mignon I've ever had! The cocktails are well made and have generous portions. It was lunchtime and the noise level was low. I don't recall overhead musis and sounds did not carry from table to table. Overall. this was exactly what we needed before a long day of travel and to say adieu. I would certainly go hear again when in the area.
