This was my first time at a stir since it changed from Capitol Cider. As someone with Celiac, I hate to leave a 3-star review of an all-GF place, but unfortunately the food and service tonight was not up to standard. Food: The cheese curds were delicious; the marinara sauce was good, but nobody in my group liked the cinnamon applesauce. The fried chicken sandwich was very good. The pesto chicken rigatoni was okay, but it was a small portion for $24 and tasted like could have been made with store-bought pesto and frozen chicken breast. The tipsy shrimp was inedible; although the shrimp itself was okay, the sauce was too fishy and ruined the dish. It was also garnished with whole pieces of parsley which was awkward to handle. Service: We chose to sit in the basement. When the cheese curds came out, we still hadn't been given silverware or napkins. When we asked for napkins, we were given small bar napkins. When the first entree came out, we were offered napkins, but they were paper towels. Nobody ever offered us silverware when our dishes came out and it was only when we went to the bar and asked for forks and knives that we also got cloth napkins. Dietary restrictions: All GF and nut free

Nice vibe, lots of menu options. You wouldn't know it was gluten free. Veal meatballs were a highlight; Brussel sprouts lacked flavor. Attentive service, well done for a party of 8. Wishing this place success, give it a shot!

Cozy vibes and their inviting menu (with comfort food on it) drew us in on a chilly evening! We didn’t know anything about the restaurant’s history (the rebranding) before our visit, so we have nothing to compare it to. Food was great but portion was definitely smaller than expected, esp given the price range ~$20+). The tomato soup and grilled cheese had fantastic flavors. I think I tasted some type of dried fig in the tomato soup? It added that special crunch and flavor that showed their attention to details. The grilled cheese was delicious too. It did say on the menu that they were “mini”, but they were so tasty that I wish there was a third piece. They were also a little disproportional to the big bowl of tomato soup. My partner had the fish and chips, and the fish tasted fresh, perfectly fried and seasoned. There was a generous portion of the fries. Again, wish there was more fish. Service - The bartender was busy so she did not really converse with us but to take our order.

The service is a bit slow and they brought our food out at different times. Otherwise, the food tastes great and the atmosphere is nice. Diverse menu with lots of options for various allergies. Would definitely come back again.
