This place is just amazingly good. Very delicious, fresh and high quality food
Delicious food and friendly service. This is a hidden gem in the State College downtown.
WOW so great!! Highly recommend and everyone was so nice! Some of the most attentive and welcoming people! Large portions too and very delicious! Best baklava I’ve ever had! ☺️
Cozy little tucked away gem with delicious food and pleasant staff
Cafe Alina is my favorite restaurant on the East Coast! When I eat there I feel as though I am being cooked for in their home. The food is so good! It tastes like home cooking-all ingredients are fresh and tasty. The restaurant is small and cozy. If you have a large group arrive early to secure seating. Worth the effort!
There is a reason why this place is rated higher than the other Indian places. Their menu doesn't miss. I haven't had anything here that wasn't perfectly spiced. Also, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very warm. I don't mind staying in for a while. I've dined in and done take out as well. Both were nice experiences. They have lots of affordable options, but I usually end up spending 20-30 for myself because it's all just too good! If what you're after is quantity, you're going to be spending a lot. If you want something good and that will make you feel satisfied, then this is the place for you. I'd recommend the chicken biryani (eat it carefully though because it has bones and spices) or the butter chicken with some rice. If you are bad at handling spice (you can ask for adjustments) , I'd recommend getting a mango Lassi to top off your meal. It will save you a ton of trouble later. *** This is mandatory. You must get the Chai. This is not a choice you have, it's something you are required to do (by me). Even if you just get it once, do it.***
The place is great for a pocket friendly dinner with spicy South Asian delicacies.
