I had an exceptionally terrible experience here and I am so disappointed because I had higher expectations for Bristol Farms.
Everyone working looked absolutely miserable, had low depressed energy and did the bare minimum so so slowly that I was late to work.
Got a lukewarm lavender mint latte after waiting 15 mins unaddressed at the juice and coffee bar. Then got a sandwich at the deli made by a guy named Luis who looked like he never made a sandwich in his entire life and like it was his first day ever being employed. I ordered a chimichuri roast beef sandwich and HE FORGOT THE CHIMICHURI SAUCE and used a sourdough bread bowl used for clam chowder instead of ciabatta. I didn’t have time to get it remade because I was already late for work because he was SO SLOW. He had NO IDEA what he was doing, took an eternity and the sandwich tasted awful. What a waste of a $30 lunch!!!
I will never go back to this location. Wow, just wow.
The gentleman that helped me today in this store in the produce section, Warner, is a national treasure of a man. He was utterly kind and noticed that I was a new face in the store. After some small talk he came and found me and offered to buy me a store juice. I told him he absolutely did not need to do that but he insisted. He walked me to the register and paid for my juice out of his own money. I am still stunned by this level of kindness, I’ll truly remember this for the rest of my life. I usually shop a little closer to lake balboa but now I will go out of my way to shop at this store because of this level of customer service. Astounded!! Thank you Warner!!
Amazing store!! I’ve been going for around 3-4 years now and I always love their meat produce for perfect gourmet burgers and the overall atmosphere of the store is amazing with workers and all other aspects!
One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had was buying a birthday cake from Bristol Farms on Mulholland Way in Woodland Hills last night. Based on their reputation, I thought I could trust them. First off, there was no real cream inside or outside. The only thing you could taste was a very sugary frosting. The flour seemed like corn flour, which was new to me because I’ve never tasted corn flour in a birthday cake before, and there was no information tag or label on it. Plus, there was no decoration at all. It’s shameful that a big brand like Bristol Farms would make something so trashy. It was a complete waste of money and time. They ruined my daughter’s birthday, and nobody could eat it. We ended up throwing it in the trash. On the other hand, the birthday cake from Ralphs was much better in quality and taste, and it had nice decorations. Do yourself and your health a favor and don't buy cakes from this store. Absolutely NOT recommended!
Beautiful store with everything in its place and standing in attention. Nice selection of healthy, ready to eat foods, specialty items, drinks, and if you're looking for craft beer-this is the spot!..and if your single- seems to be a lot of good looking men shopping here 😉
They got Yo Egg so that’s pretty much an excuse for a perfect score right there. I just wish it was a little closer.
A lot of expired products I have purchased .
Today I bought watermelon juice that tastes like soda which I should have known because it was the last one. I also emailed corporate but no answer. Check the dates on your grocery products
Friendly and helpful staff. And their warm cookies are one of my favorites!
I have been to Bristol Farms in Calabasas twice, and both visits were fantastic. The first time, I purchased a watermelon juice that was so delicious, I couldn't even believe it. On my second visit, I went to the juice bar and got another juice, which was top quality and filled me with so much vitality. Thank you so much, Bristol Farms!
I shop here 3-4x a week. They have the BEST take-out sushi bar PERIOD! Hot food bar, the butchers, this place ROCKS...
So, Bristol Farms, once the go-to spot for fancy food finds, seems to have hit a rough patch since the Amazon takeover. I popped into the Woodland Hills store hoping for a smooth deli experience, but alas, it was anything but.
I sidled up to the counter, eyes gleaming at the thought of some savory ham. Lo and behold, there was someone behind the counter! But getting their attention was like trying to hail a taxi in the rain – futile. After what felt like a game of deli charades, I finally managed to score my ham, though the interaction was about as warm as a frozen pizza.
To add a sprinkle of absurdity to the mix, it seems Bristol Farms has forgotten the age-old question: paper or plastic? When I dared to ask for paper, it was like I had requested a unicorn ride. Apparently, plastic is the new black, and my paper bag dreams were swiftly deflated.
I'm off to Gelson's now...
Always fresh meats, fish and produce. Very helpful people, here
Great shopping experience, they have very nice products. Must have are their fresh baked cookies
love shopping at this store and love the addition of the smart carts. They make shopping there even better!
