I wish I could give this establishment a lower rating; the only good thing about it is the atmosphere, which is ideal for taking cute pictures or hanging around, but not for eating, drinking, or celebrating anything. The awful service began with how difficult it is to make a reservation at this establishment. If you have a party of more than six people, you might think contacting is the answer, but after calling their staff, I was directed to write an email to their manager, who took a long time to respond. After I placed a reservation for a group of eight, I was told they required a reservation fee that would be applied to the final charge, which I thought made sense in the event of a cancellation. However, there's no need in making a reservation there to celebrate a birthday because when my friends and I arrived, they said they were clearing some tables for us, but it took approximately 20-30 minutes for my party to be seated. When we were eventually seated, their server took a while to meet us and simply took our drink orders. We were all waiting for her to return and take our food order, but she never did; instead, she just came and told us the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, so we all had to rush to order something before they closed the kitchen, and finally, that reservation fee was not applied to our final check, and I had to point it out to the server for them to apply it. Overall, the service was poor and inattentive, and the food was bland and served in extremely little servings. Even several of my pals got sick after eating their duck dish. Seriously, if you want to celebrate your birthday and have a nice experience, go somewhere else in the vicinity that will give you your money's worth.
I took my date here tonight for a wonderful dinner. It was our first date. The food was great, but our server Ava really went above and beyond to make sure our date went great! Thanks Ava!
Ambiance was great. Blondette itself was smaller than anticipated but still very cute inside. Visited this place on a Saturday evening (party of 3) The food wasn't worth the price (portion size was a lot smaller than you'd expect for the price as well) & the service was not great. We waited over 30 mins for our 2 apps & 40+ mins for our main courses to arrive (after ordering.) When we finally got our main courses, only 2 of the 3 made it onto our table. We were rarely checked on by our server and when she made her way to us, I had to remind her we were still waiting on an entree. 15 mins later, it arrived. She wasnt very attentive and personable. Overall we were here for a little over 2 & a half hours mainly waiting for our food. We left hungry and looked for a different place to grab dessert because it probably wouldve taken another 30+ mins to get to us. Place looked cute but other than that, it didnt live up to the hype... definetly a let down.
Had a reservation, was told our table was getting ready-15 minutes after reservation, walked to the table to find a fairly empty restaurant. No big deal, maybe staffing issues. Service was pretty slow. It seemed like only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, I felt pretty bad. We ordered appetizers and didn’t finish them immediately, wanted to save them for our entree as the server suggested, only to find out that they cleared our appetizers once we got our entrees which was odd. Tuna crudo and beef tartare was good, entrees not so much. I got the squash risotto with scallops. Scallops were good, risotto was cooked perfectly but flavor was bland. In my opinion, save your money and go elsewhere. Cocktails weren’t too much to rave about either. Probably wouldn’t return unless I had to.
Such a wonderful evening with the girls . The staff was beyond incredible with staff from bottom lobby hotel floor to the staff in the restaurant. Very attentive, very kind, genuine hospitality. Food was delicious came in a timely manner. Definitely have to come back with the rooftop dining. We were happy to pay for the additional charges, theres so many places that just dont offer genuine service anymore, no matter how expensive or affordable the restaurant is. We still tipped ontop of that.
This hidden restaurant in a hotel, was beautiful. The full skylight ceiling gave this open feel to a smaller space. I got the Lobster BLT and it was delicious! I am giving this place a 3 star because my partner got the steak and eggs and ended up not feeling well after, having to miss the class we drove in for. The music was also super quiet, making it seem like everyone could hear our conversation. I would definitely give it another try if I lived in the city. I bet it would be super cool for dinner.
Very classy I loved it!! The mussels wer Amazing wish i had a side of pasta for the gravy/sauce . My only disappointment was that my take home containers were made out of cardboard.
