Nice sandwiches, with some interesting specialty subs.
THE MEN ARE NICE. THEY ALWAYS MAKE IT GOOD
since it moved from Wood Avenue to East Elizabeth... the food is not the SAME at all... I'm so sad
Not what it used to be when the shop was apart of the plaza. Ordered food and when I asked for the total amount the guy said " I'll tell you when you get here" and I asked "why can't you tell me over the phone?". He replied " can I just tell you here?" And I said sure. I didn't care about the price just wanted to know because I was trying to rather pay in cash than card. Weird to me on why that couldn't had been said over the phone. Food wasnt good couldn't compare to before at all. Maybe different cooks ? Different style ?
Ordered over the phone for pickup. I asked the price and was told a different one at pick up due to card transaction instead of cash. Asked to honor that price because it wasn’t mentioned at all. Was told flat out no. Bad customer service point blank period.
This sandwich shop has been around as long as I can remember. They are well known For being the sub shop near the train station.and now they have. moved to a new location, Across the street and down a bit .I believe that's the same ownership, but a different crew I miss the guys that used to take care of me. But on my past couple of visits, the food has been good. Great selection of hot and cold sub style sandwiches, cheesesteaks, Italian hotdogs, burgers And more.
Went to new location twice was not satisfied at all, meat does not taste the same. Italian hotdogs the potatoes and peppers was greasy. Wood Avenue location was better also notice new workers.
I've always gotten the same order from Big Blue's on Wood Ave and when I ordered it today (at the new location), it was probably the worst sandwich I've ever had. First of all, they put on a DISGUSTING amount of meat, they put on the wrong cheese and it just tasted so bad. Also... $30 for two HALF sandwiches is ridiculous especially when it tastes THAT bad. I can't believe I'm saying this but Jersey Mike's is better than whatever this is. BLEH.
Where is the big blue staff from over by the train station??? This is not the same business, same name, but not the same at all. This Italian cheese burger was dry and had about 10 fries on the roll. Disappointing.
