Been coming here FOREVER! Always delish.
Steak and cheese was DIVINE
Highly recommend everyone is super kind and nice! THE OLD CREW IS BACK!!!
Best sandwiches in the area.
Ahh the old folks are back!! I just went back after a while and saw that our Big Blues is now back under the old ownership. The food is just like it used to be at the old location. I got the chicken cutlet and my friend got the hot pastrami with cheese. Both were absolutely divine!! I will be a regular customer once again. Thank you Mr. Blues for bringing our shop back! Go show them love folks!
This place is a go to for me. Both in person and through delivery apps. Double Italian cheeseburger best in area hands down
Asking people for a good sub shop in area & people kept saying Jersey Mike's, but I wanted a real mom n pop sub. A friend recommended this place. Awesome sub esp as they had all different hot or peppered hams. Def coming back.
Glad to see the original workers back. The food quality and portions are just like the old location. AMAZING!
They do not speak English, do not understand English, they don't put enough meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions,
Oil, vinegar, oregano,salt and pepper
These guys do not wear gloves when making sandwiches and other Foods
I give them a BIG F
Big blue subs, SUB-par. So mid and HIGHLY unimpressive. $20 for a whole “big blue” sub and MAYBE $5 worth of food. Generic cold cuts, a single slice of cheese on each section, not a few layers like most are used to. The meat was piled in the center of the bread so it looked thick but when spread out, same level of meat as a subway sandwich. So, I ordered two turkey subs, a chicken cutlet, and a big blue, 4 chips, 1 Pepsi. $100. Absolutely not worth more than $50 at best. I asked specifically for one turkey with American cheese and one with Swiss cheese. I got Swiss AND American on both and neither person likes the other type of cheese.
I also asked specifically “for your corned beef, do you make it or is it like a boars head slab?”. The gentleman replied “no, it’s a special corned beef we order and have to cut”. Yeah, they all have to be cut. I get it. It was generic slab corned beef, salty AF and sliced.
So, this place would be just OK if it were half the cost. $100 for some mediocre sandwiches just isn’t it. Never again.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The old location gave a lot of meat and the food tastes so much better! This new location chopped up my pastrami instead of slicing and my sandwich was so thin. The lack of meat for an expensive sandwich is horrible. The customer service from the chick at the counter was horrible. 0 stars do not recommend. The thinnest sandwich I have ever had from a sub shop. Just go to Jersey Mikes.
This new crew of employees are HORRIBLE. Learn English then take phone orders smh.
Better than the previous location and I’d had the other location my entire life. Portions are better now. Prices are a bit lower as well. Also a lot nicer people.
Three strikes and I’m out. The last visit I waited 15min out of my 30min lunch break for a sub that was laying on the counter for maybe five minutes. When I was handed the bag it had a different name and Uber written on it but was the sub I ordered. The ingredients used are not the same as the old big blues and didn’t taste great. Even the oil and vinegar was bland. Overall just disappointing. Once a beloved sub shop and staple of linden and now it’s worse than subway. I’d rather go to jersey mikes.
