Erik and his wife Rebecca (a native New Jerseyan) and nicknamed “Bean” met and built their relationship in part on one common passion - food. They moved to Metuchen from Brooklyn during the height of the pandemic. Immediately they were welcomed by their neighbors and mayor and were impressed with the charming downtown and numerous events offered to engage the Metuchen community. Erik’s career has been in the food and hospitality industry (including some of the most well known bakeries in New York) and wanted to share those amazing food options with the community he now calls home. Clinton, a successful entrepreneur, skilled contractor, and a coffee connoisseur teamed up with Erik as co-founders to create Beans & Bread.
