Great service (Izabel was awesome) and fun atmosphere. Food and drinks were inconsistent-- ordered a ginger beer, rosemary drink that tasted like cologne. The brussel sprouts were phenomenal. The beet hummus was bland and had a watery texture but the cajun shrimp dip was delicious and flavorful (veggies and pita bread were also fresh). The Firebird sandwich was underwhelming and overcooked, ordered with pickles on the side. Didn't know what chow chow (pickled relish) was, so I should've asked for that on the side too-- my error on that!
Expectation leads to disappointment! I grab wine from the retail side of this space very often so I decided to stop in for dinner one night over the holidays with my daughter. Our server Fabian was very attentive, she was the best part of our experience. For them to have a great wine retail section the wine list on the menu was ridiculous. And if I wanted to purchase the wine from the retail section there was a $15 cork fee.... We waited about 15 minutes tops for our food that arrived cold. I'm guessing the food manager is who our server told about the food. He immediately ran it back. Food came back hot! The flavor was mediocre at best. I got the bougie grilled cheese. It was subpar! The Brussel Sprouts were good, they could have been crisper but the flavor was decent. I don't have to go back! The great thing, you don't have to pay for parking!
