Barcelona Wine Bar

Very young scene. Good food. Loved the hangar and shrimp ajillo. Meatballs mediocre.

Wine and food were surprisingly decently priced. When it is so packed on a Saturday evening it can take some time until a waiter finds you.

Ridiculous wait for 2 people, 2+ hours, there’s empty tables everywhere and they “don’t take reservations” and “do not provide estimated wait times for the wait list”….OK . Even when I have been seated here it’s way too overrun, you get crammed into some packed area and the service takes forever because the servers clearly have way too many people crammed into their sections. It used to be fun here and the food is good, but be ready for a mad house these days….

Really great food, loved the Seared octopus and Paella. Atmosphere was fantastic! Disappointed that even after making a reservation we were not allowed to sit until the third member of our group arrived. I can understand this mentality for a large group, but not for only a couple of people. Otherwise a great experience!

This is a must visit place in DC. Great selection of tapas with an authentic taste. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing atmosphere We ordered the Gambas Al ajilo, patatas bravas and the steak. Love their crepes dessert as well

Service was good, excellent waitress and tapas as well but the seafood paella had way too much paprika so I couldn’t eat it although I paid full price. I told the waitress about the misshap.
