Vegetarian options are terrible. A wider variety is needed as a matter of urgency. Even simple things like veggie lasagne, and a veggie soup alternative would make a huge difference. That vegan mushroom pie is horrible. Vegetarian options: Poor vegetarian options.

I've been coming here on and off for 25 years and it's really gone down hill. The previous landlords were brilliant. Now it's a place of service only if it works for the publican. Don't bother trying to walk in and get food. That's too much like hard work for the current landlord. Yes if you book and it fits in with them you might get a half decent service. Ask them to be flexible and work a bit and they just flake out. Have tried to get food a number of times now around 8pm to only be told they can't because its a bit of an inconvenience, or in short they don't want to work or provide a service as it's all about P/L. Shame. Best thing that can happen now is a developer buys the pace demos it and turns it into flats. As a public service it fails miserably
