Anthonino's Taverna

A solid four. The service could have been better but the food was amazing for lunch. I had the chicken parm sandwich, everyone else's meals were devoured.

A nice variety of options. I had a gyro and it was delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a side entrance that is accessible.

I just had one of my best evenings ever at a restaurant. It was Jeanette's birthday and the night started great before we entered the door, as a welcome birthday sign was posted on the glass. We arrived just prior to our 6:00 reservation and were shown directly to our booth, passing several parties waiting outside. I am glad the reservation system works! We opened up with some delicious spanakopita which set the tone for great things to come. Jeanettte was extremely pleased with her Palermo Style Chicken in the fantastic sauce. However, when my 8 ounce Steak Mudiga (filet mignon) hit my palate I knew I was in heaven. This was probably one of the top three meals I have enjoyed in my 76 years!!! The final surprise birthday cannoli for her was the piece-de-resistance. A well done goes to our server Bailee, the kitchen staff, and the rest of the support team at Anthonino's Taverna!

A classic nice restaurant on the hill. Good food, good service. Seating is NOT overly close like many of the hill restaurants.

A great place to find traditional Italian AND Greek dishes, I saw the awards for both on the wall! The building is great, feels homey but has plenty of room for large crowds, the service was spectacular from the moment we walked in the door to when they told us goodbye as we left, with full stomachs and leftovers for dinner. You gotta go try this place!

"The Hill" section of St Louis has many restaurants to choose from. Anthoninos was recommended to us by two different people we know, and a local after we made the reservations. The service was very good and the food fresh. The pizza seems to be extremely popular judging by the numerous pizza boxes leaving the restaurant with guests' leftovers, but being from out of town we decided to have regular dinner meals. They did not disappoint. It was our first night in town, so we had to try the toasted ravioli. Very different style from what we are used to but very good. We had it one more time at another establishment and it was equally as good there. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, though you'll need a car or it's a quick ride-share drive.

4 adults and 4 different dishes, no one complained, everyone passed around forks of their meal and everyone liked the food. Great service and authentic fare.

10/10 Best Italian food I have ever had in my entire life. Will come again, and often!!!
