Alpha Koney Island

This restaurant has gone downhill over the years I’ve been coming with my family. Today we wanted to get breakfast and sat for a good 6 minutes with all the servers passing by us and not even acknowledging us….the restaurant was absolutely slow so there was no reason to not greet us or anything…i saw servers on their phones, eating while looking out in the dinning room. I’ve served 9 years and still do so you can’t give me a reason as to why I wasn’t greeted by a server…this was the last time you’d get my service! For anyone else I recommend going to Roosters by Kroger, they are ABSOLUTELY amazing! You get the moneys worth and amazing service!

Hadn't seen my cousin in 50 years and stopped in Jackson Michigan to visit and him and his lovely wife Mrs Mae took me to this dinner.It was a great time and great food

So let me start by saying I LOVE most of the menu here! HOWEVER! Every single time I order food to go OR sit in to eat it’s always an issue of snotty staff or issues with an order this time I am pretty upset! I ordered food for takeout on a Sunday afternoon for three people one being a kid. I am adding a photo bc this is what STARTED an ongoing issue for me. My son ordered French toast and a side of fruit. MY PHOTO SHOWS THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR ORDERING. I called and placed order. Then got home to see no fruit? Curious as to why not I called them. The person who I spoke too assured me it wasn’t an option they offered for this meal. I said so why is it online also why wouldn’t the server who took my order tell me this? This lady assure me twice it wasn’t “her problem “ FINALLY I asked to speak to a manager. Just to be told “nope they can’t ” I am sorry what!? Why can’t I speak to someone if it wasn’t your fault/issue/problem!? Mmmmm nope she said I got infuriated and said I wld call back another day to further discuss this issue w a manager on a different day! This is uncalled for it could have ALL BEEN AVOIDED HAD I BEEN TOLD THE SIDE I ASKED FOR WASNT AVAILABLE THEY CLD HAVE CALLED ME AS THEY HAD THE NUMBER ON THE ORDER!? My family will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

The food wasn't very good here. We ordered a veggie wrap and a chicken ranch wrap and they were very poorly made. The chicken ranch wrap had 3 small pieces of chicken and very little lettuce. It had a sliced tomato that was cut in half in it and I couldn't keep the wrap together so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. My friend ordered the veggie wrap and some french fries and she ate her wrap the same way as I did. Her fries were cold when she got them. The waitress wasn't very friendly the whole time we were there. I'm not going back to that place again. Coney island in the crossing mall, yucky!!!!

Food looked and tastes great, it was my first time here and my waitress was very attentive and made sure to see if I had any questions or needed anything. Overall one of my best experiences in Jackson.
