Me and my friend took a bowl and we both got disgusted after a few hours.
I ordered a chicken bowel and had way less portion of chicken in my bowel and more than 60% is rice. The chicken was chopped in tiny bits. The quality of food is going downhill. It’s not worth of money any more. I will go to chipotle on campus now.
I love the food. I love the people. But it upsets me the waist of the plastic lid. I am only walking to the table. I always say I dont want a lid and 1/4 of the time they still give me one. It is a waist! Sorry Dietary restrictions: Great low carb options
So sad to see the place go downhill from the time I was here for school. 1. Burritos/bowls were 11$ after tax, now it’s 15.26$ (that’s with no special toppings) 2. The portions shrunk a lot. I’m talking very minimal amounts and when you ask for extra anything to get it to the original size it costs more. 3. My burrito was missing pieces- all the toppings fell right out. 4. Burrito/Chipotle sauce used to be wayyyyy better. I don’t know what the heck this new stuff is but it ain’t it. I loved Z-Teca, I don’t love what it is now…
The chicken taco had an intense taste rotten taste either from the chicken or the sour cream. When I went to speak to the girl she argued with me saying she just made everything, and that "I can't do anything if you just don't like the taste". I've had Zteca many times and nothing ever tasted rotten like it did here. May be a issue with food storage/preparation. Stay away from this place, definitely not safe for consumption.
Good food, but the prices raised and the food portions are smaller compared to before. Maybe it’s because they recently seem to have boosted in popularity.
They fill the plates generously and the food is delicious.
The menu specified that the tacos are made with corn tortillas. When I ordered tacos they immediately tasted really weird and I started to feel sick almost right away. I asked the server if she was sure the tacos were corn, she at first refused to disclose the tortillas she used, insisting that they use both kinds. I finally got her to disclose the fact that she replaced my tortillas with the flour ones, but she insisted it was my fault caus i never specified I had an intolerance, I didnt think I had to , as the menu specified the tacos were made with corn tortillas. Anyways, be careful, the menu is deceptive and misleading and the place just gives shady vibes.
