Zio's Italian Comfort Food

Some of the best Italian food I have had. Came to town for a hockey game and tried it on a whim. The bruschetta was great, especially the bread. The sauce on the pasta was fantastic and absolutely filling. The prices were super reasonable as well. Definitely coming back again with some friends

We had a family dinner here and the food was amazing! Our server checked in often. Next time we're back in Barrie, a must go!

I reached out to this hidden gem of a restaurant to see if they could cater/host a family gathering of up to 30 people for lunch after a funeral service on the family day stat holiday. Giancarlo & Brandy even though it should have been a day off for them, chose to open their kitchen for us and catered our family gathering and was very reasonably priced. When a restaurant could have over charge, they did not. The food was delicious, the pizza, pasta and salad kept coming out and it was all very tasty and amazing. Their homemade Cesar dressing has got to be the best hands down especially if you love garlic. The atmosphere was very comforting, the Italian music was soothing, there was plenty of room and overall the experience was amazing. Zio's you did not disappoint this Italian family, Thank you for everything.

This place is decent and has potential. Their food taste is decent and service is good. I really appreciate the However, I just have a few suggestions for them to consider: 1) I would recommend them investing in a pasta and ravioli machine to make them fresh in-house. People appreciate home made pasta. This would bring in the crowd they need for the weekend. 2) It would be great if they could have a kids meals. I saw families come in with kids who visited the indoor trampoline park / parks. 3) Reduce portion sizes for their meals and add dessert options. The quantity of food is a little too much for one person. Their food is flavorful and delicious. I really appreciate the house cut fries.

Love the meatball sandwich and caesar salad! Love a garlicky caesar salad. Best caesar salad in town!

Really great food and service! Enjoyed the Lasagna, portions were good 3 of us took home leftovers, price is fair for home cooked fresh food! This will be a regular stop for us!
