Zen Gardens

I ordered a couple of dishes including the sushi platter for take away and it was great! The sushi was really good and I would definitely recommend it! I loved the tofu one and the avocado one was great as well. Overall really enjoyed the food! Vegetarian options: The restaurant is fully vegetarian!

Zen Gardens is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the area. I’ve been dining here for many years and every experience has been peaceful, relaxing, and satisfying. Great atmosphere overall. Prices have definitely gone up post-pandemic, but that seems to be the case everywhere. The menu has also changed, but we were informed that this is the case because of Covid. The hot and sour soup + jasmine tea is delicious, and I love the crispy soy fritters, fried bean curd, and fried noodle dishes. We also purchased multiple boxes of the pineapple cake and were super impressed.

This is a vegetarian place with awesome Asian food!! Everything we ordered was packed with veggies and you could taste the high quality of the veggies. My most favorite thing was the sizzling mushroom dish. I wasn’t aware mushrooms can be like this. We later were informed the cuisine doesn’t even have garlic or onion to cater to as wide an audience as possible. That’s crazy- to have such good tasting food with some of the ingredients we thought as absolutely essential to Asian cooking. The staff was also really nice and friendly. The moment we got it our kid had his bowl and his spoon and fork! The vegetarian fried rice was perfect for him. This is one of the few places I would go again and again and try everything else we didn’t order. We went at around 1230 noon and my wife wasn’t too hot on the place since the place was empty. lol. I insisted we still go for it. The place filled up rather quickly shortly after.
