Secret hidden restaurant at back of Korean mini store. Run by small bunch of lovely smiling people, service was great! We got good help with choosing our dishes. Got reminded this is a ChineseKorean not usual Korean restaurant which helped in deciding dishes. We loved the crispy chicken and pork starters. And the free kimchi was very very tasty and refreshing. The seafood soup mains was excellent ! Try the Chaimisul Soju! They have private room dining experience for parties too
My wife and I popped in for a late lunch - a lot of other places were closed down for an afternoon break. We were very pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem - almost Harry-Potter-esque tucked in the back of the Seoul Plaza supermarket! We received a very warm welcome and the food was delicious. I can highly recommend ordering everything on the lunch set! Being able to help yourself to kimchi and radish was truly authentic and delightful!
I enjoyed an excellent set menu here recently. Korean Chinese isn't really my thing, but the service was wonderful and it felt special finding it at the back of a larger retail shop. The portions were a generous size and it was clear great pride was taken in the final dishes.
Came as a family of three on a Saturday night after reading the reviews - we ordered a small tangsuyuk, jjajangmyeon, scorched rice soup, mapo tofu with rice. The taste is authentic, the portions were decent and it was very reasonably priced, only improvement is that the soup could be less salty. We’ve tried a lot korean restaurants places in Sutton and New Malden, and this place tops as our favourite. Will recommend and will definitely come back again!
New Malden's secret. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor. Unlimited kimchi (rare nowadays).
Lovely service, almost hidden at the back of a shop. You'd miss it if you didn't know it was there and you'd be missing out too. Wonderful food and people. Thank you!
The atmosphere is very cute and homey, the staff are super friendly and accommodating, the food was mega tasty and decent sized portions. However if you decide to order the sichuan noodles, be aware that it is very spicy! But they would happily take a request to tone down the spice if required.
Fantastic secret gem to go and taste korean food! Delicious home made korean food by lovely people and lovely service! They also gave us guidance on what to have with our mains for next time to enhance our experience. It is so worth the price and the lovely lady there is the sweet auntie everyone wants to have ^.^ Kid-friendliness: The owner gave a toy train for a little boy to play with while the parents were eating.
