I love Zaxby's food, always have. But the mangagement at the Wilson Zaxby's is in dire need of leadership training. I waited in line for over 30 minutes for an Asian Zensation Salad and there were only 6 cars in front of me. By the time the lady come out with my food she gave it away to the car in front of me. Another staff member came out to apologize and I told her I wanted a refund for having a wait so long and I still wanted my salad. I did not speak to any of the staff members rude and I was very nice the entire time even though I had been waiting for so long. Then the manager came out on the defense acting like I was the problem and he actually was fussing at me had a high pitch tone and was very rude. He had already made the refund without speaking with me first to let me know he was not gonna give me my salad. I don't recall his name but it was the male manager working Friday night 1/26/24 about 7pm. He said I was either going to get my salad or a refund but I was not going to get both. I told him I have already waited in line for 30 minutes and It would be another 10 minutes before receiving my salad making the whole ordeal about 40-45 minutes long which is absolutely unacceptable. HE CALLED ME I LIAR!! He said I have not been in line for 30 minutes. That is very unprofessional. I am a grown woman and I do not have to lie about how long I was sitting in a drive thru line. I was appalled by his behavior and lack of resolution. I told him I guess I'll have to speak with headquarters he said "you do that" and walked away. I have since called headquarters and have not received any resolution from them either. I'm very disappointed in the customer service displayed by Zaxby's. More leadership training needs to be offered to the management in the Wilson location and headquarters needs to tighten when resolving complaints. This makes me not want to spend my money with Zaxby's.

Listen, I’m sure the staff is totally awesome and the place is filled with clean tables and food service. As a struggle to write this, I am absolutely fighting for my life with what I can only assume is food poisoning. My stomach feels absolutely horrendous after eating their sliders. Absolutely turning in pain and nausea. If the owner is reading this please check your stock.

Something bad has happen to Zaxby’s your food is terrible. It’s getting bad when you mess up a salad. I miss those salads. Thanks for stepping up and getting it together. It pays off! Zaxby’s you are back on my list.

These people have screwed me over twice in less than a two week period. I am a Dominos driver, and the first incident, I timed an in-store pickup order so that it would be ready by the time I got there on my way back to my store from a delivery. If we aren't too busy, making a quick stop for food is generally fine. It should have added less than 2 minutes to my run, get there, walk in, grab my food off the shelf, make my drink, and move on down the road. When I got there I found the store locked. And since they already had my money, I had to get in their always slow line to get my food. To make matters worse, I ordered my drink as "make your own in the store" because my preferred drink isn't in the app, but can be easily made on the coke remix machines. I finally get up to the pickup door, and they hand me a large lemonade. Told me all they had is that and sweet tea. I don't like either of those. They didn't bother contacting me when I ordered, or bother saying anything when I pulled up to the speaker and told them I was picking up. I would have just told them to give me ice water. All told, I was on the property for over 10 minutes. If I had known I would have to get in line, I never would have ordered in the first place. At the time, they gave me the excuse of "oh, we can't change our hours in the app, people just have to deal with it," a statement I now know is a lie, which brings me to what happened tonight, new years eve. THEY CLOSED EARLY AND LEFT ONLINE ORDERING OPEN. They were literally taking peoples money when there was nobody there making food. I live in Rocky Mount and work in Wilson. The Rocky Mount Zaxbys had no issue setting themselves as closed at 5:30 in the app. As did a couple of other locations in the list on the app. Wilson and a couple of others listed 9pm. So I started placing my order as I was pulling off of i95 in Wilson on my way to work, timing it, again, so that I could be in and out fast, and be at work by 7. I figured as early as it was, with the app saying 9pm, I wouldn't have an issue going inside this time. Imagine my surprise when I get there, after they already took my money, and find the store closed and dark. So I then had to drive to Bojangles for food, making myself late for work, because I'm not gonna work til 2-2:30am on no food.
