I looked high and low for the perfect drunken noodles in Calgary and Edmonton. FINALLY FOUND IT. Thank you so much for this wonderful dish
I had the red curry with coconut rice and my boyfriend had drunken noodles. Both were amazing. The parking lot is a bit small though. Edit: I came back to try the panang curry, which was also delicious.
Food is authentic and delicious. We ordered the panang curry, stuffed chicken wings, papaya salad, and coconut rice. Flavours are there, unfortunately portions are small. I cannot justify $5 for a single bowl of RICE! I'm Asian, I eat rice every day. I make coconut rice myself. But I CANNOT justify $5 for a small bowl of rice. Rice is a cheap ingredient, even when you consider the extra ingredients for coconut rice. Other Thai restaurants in Calgary charge $2.50 for a bowl or $6-7 for a whole bucket of rice. I understand with shrinkflation, it is normal to charge a bit more for things and I totally am okay with other dishes being more expensive. Just not rice.
Cute family run Thai restaurant. They were very friendly and the food was excellent. The Thai spicy was actually spicy. My favourite dishes was the tamarind fish, pineapple rice and the pork skewers. There are a lot of items I will be going back to try.
First time eating here and it was definitely worth it. Service is outstanding. Family run business. My partner is Thai so we tried a lot! We order chicken satay, pineapple fried rice, Thai coconut shrimp, yellow chicken curry, kao soi, pad pad fish, coconut rice, Thai okara juice, Thai milk tea and mango sticky rice. Every single dish we ordered tasted so good. Can’t wait to come back to try other dishes! Owners are super amazing people. Support local!!!!
