It's not a good place for tourists because they don't want to enter with any food from another restaurant. As me and my family we like shopping around and we have items on hand before we get back to our car.
This is just an excellent brewery! I tried the Kolsch and the seasonal Hefe. Both were great, but I had to take some Hefe home with me. Wish I’d have had time to try more, but I know all of the Yee Haw products would have been good, based on my sampling. The food from White Duck Tacos was perfect with the beer. The bar and food staff were very attentive and helpful. Atmosphere is great inside and out (including fire pit). If I lived in Johnson City, I’d be a regular here. For those of you who are, appreciate and enjoy this treasure.
Great bar service with an excellent selection on Draft. Highly recommend the Stud Cider. 11/10.
What kind of restaurant doesn't have a menu?!??!?! She said "you can take a picture.." smdh
Nice brewery, decent beer
We didn’t even stay to have a brew or food due to how incredibly RUDE the staff was. Whatever short female they have prancing around the bar area with dark long hair, is probably not who you should have near your front door as the face of your business. We stood awkwardly for a couple of minutes as staff zipped by us and COMPLETELY ignored us. To the point I had to practically go behind the bar and ask if we seat ourselves. She had a horrid look on her face and said “yeah.” That was the last we were spoke to. Whoever the tall possibly bald or balding man was behind the bar greeted others sitting at the bar though he also ignored us, but at least he smiled. So if that is your manager- that speaks volumes for our experience. I’m not sure if it’s because we weren’t locals or because we were an interracial couple or only person of any color. Only reason I bring that into play is it was the only thing that made us different than everyone else. We smiled, awkwardly glances around for direction and waited until I had to approach the girl with the disgusted look on her face. Which leads me to believe they were disgusted by us. The experience was horrible and we gladly took our money to Great Oak Brewing/Southern Craft, which was awesome the staff was friendly and the food/brew was great. And that sat us politely without the look of disgust written all over their face. For an area that experiences travelers especially with the amount of outdoor activities(which is what we were doing), you’d think they’d have a better attitude especially a place where people drink. Save your money, and go support another business that will appreciate your hard earned money.
Had the best experience at Yee Haw Johnson City. First time at this location and was blown away from the staff and cleanliness of the tap room. Caity and Austin took great care of me and recommended new beers that I would’ve never tried beforehand. They had such a warmth and kindness to just not me and my family, but everyone. Also, met the crew at shift change, Ben, Jesse, and Jackson, and they were just amazing as the other bar staff!! This experience encourages me to drive back up there over and over again to see them. Highly recommend!!!
One of the best small breweries I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The beer is great. Wide variety and often changing. Fan favorites stay around. Food at the Duck next door is great. Neighborhood pub feel . Accepting, friendly, welcoming. Oh, you have to walk up to the bar to order and if not sure they happily hand out tastes of the large variety of Brews
