Great place, reminds me of Japan. Very clean and very friendly staff. The Nigiri Sushi was great and very filling. The Miso was great and the actual tofu chunks were a great sight to see. Definitely a must try and if local I'd be a regular. Arigato Gosaimasu!

Sushi was very fresh and tasty. Teriyaki chicken was good, basic. It is a very small place and very loud. The restroom was clean. Average price about $15. Per roll. Dietary restrictions: I asked for gluten free soy sauce but they didn't have any. I try to bring my own but forgot. They did substitute tempura shrimp in my roll for unbattered shrimp since we're gluten free.

Our long-time sushi restaurant (Bishamon) suddenly closed. We found Yashima nearby and gave it a try. Everything was excellent! It has a nice family atmosphere. I'm very happy with our dining experience.
