Yama Sushi

Pianist was playing hymnals. Service was extremely slow. Food was just okay.

Omg y’all seriously the WORST sushi restaurant I have ever been too!!! Not only was the fish in only one of our rolls was legit rotten I had everyone smell it and taste it and we all got sick!!! We also ordered steamed pork and steamed green beans and we got floppy soggy bacon on grilled bell peppers when in the image it’s pork roast of some sort on cabbage and such. The green beans were not green beans they served us steamed snap peas! It was foul! We ordered the food to go so I had to turn around and go back. I was very polite and just wanted my money back, due to the horrendous food, and not only was I yelled at but I was belittled by an employee that I was never even apart of the conversation. He continued to yell and point at me so I put my hands up in surrender and said “I’ll just leave a review about my experience” I then walked out calmly and this guy went all the way around the floating boats to chase me out to my car and continued to yell at me through my passenger window over my best friends lap just to yell at me more. By far the worst experience I’ve ever endeavored in my entire life! Never eat here we all got really sickn!

I came here for the first time today with my boyfriend and his friend. I don’t usually like sushi so I wasn’t sure if I would want the sushi buffet. My boyfriend and his friend got the buffet. They told me to try one piece of sushi off of THEIR plate. I never grabbed a plate, and only tried the one piece from a small portion of their plate. I told the lady I didn’t like sushi and wanted miso soup and edamame. The lady immediately said “I’m going to check the camera”. I said okay? When we checked out, they charged me $10 on top of what I ordered saying they watched me eat a plate of sushi, when the sushi buffet is only $20 in the first place. I said “I literally TRIED one piece of sushi off of someone else’s plate and didn’t like it but okay”. The food was decent but definitely not the best, and they charged us essentially twice because I TRIED sushi from someone else’s plate. I definitely will not be going back.

The only thing good about this experience was the live piano being played. My associate and I were the only two persons in the restaurant and yet the service was THE MOST AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL service that I have ever experienced. No one offered to refill water, no check ups, absolutely nothing and yet we were the only two persons in the entire restaurant. Even as a few other persons came in, even those persons experience poor service....There was nothing special about the sushi either...I WOULD NEVER RETURN NOR RECOMMEND
