Yama Izakaya & Sushi

Fantastic sushi! Fish was fresh and rolls were flavorful. Good selection of rolls as well. Ramen was good, and we appreciated the small version so that we could still enjoy other items on the menu. Didn't care for the miso soup but the edamame was good . Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Food was good, nothing extra special. The specials looked good for happy hour, we just weren't there during that time.

Food was acceptable but could have been better. Don't know why the beef tongue has to be doused in sesame oil, and no liver on the menu? Hot sake is always good to have.

Authentic feeling, great food, great hours and the drinks are stiff. Love this place.

The California rolls used to be good but now they overstuff them with imitation crab and give you just a sliver of avocado and cucumber. What happened? New chef? New management? I can't recommend this sushi anymore

I didn’t come here for the restroom. Bro the Sushi here is top shelf amazing levels of fresh. Portions are huge, the quality of the staff and presentation of dishes is art. I’m here on a Saturday evening, they’re showing UFC on the screen and there are families and couples here. The kitchen is wide open you can see them preparing meals right in front of everyone. I’d eat here every day but then it would get old. All Stars ⭐️

An absolute must try!! First and foremost ask for Reina she’s a phenomenal waitress super attentive and knowledgeable!! It was our first time at Yama and we were absolutely blown away !!! We tried the spicy miso ramen sushi and a few yakatori options all of it was wonderful. Everything was perfectly seasoned well balenced each bite left us craving more !! When we got the bill I was absolutely stunned it’s so hard to find high quality delicious food without an exorbitant price tag exceeding any expectations we might have had!! The restaurant has immaculate energy without being too much for an intimate dinner!! it was bustling full of happy patrons even so we were seated quickly without a reservation on a Friday no less and still received 5 star service !! I cannot wait to come back introduce my loved ones to the yama experience!!!
