Somebody PLEASE tell Marc Lore that he needs to go back to the drawing board and liquidate his inventory again. The purple trucks with mobile kitchens on them were a complete failure on his part, and his whole business model is unsustainable. Wonder, if it was actually considered an economic success, would take revenue and customers away from the family owned businesses within its territory, a cruel effect of corporate takeover. Seeing that Wonder's food quality is subpar, thanks to their heavy turnover of new staff, this will never happen and the company will never outdo its competition who make the same cuisine with better prices and portions. And when you have an insecure, rude management composed of people like Kendall Kirkland and Barbara Hendricks, the reluctant employees have to bear this company's burdens as well. NJ has a plethora of quality restaurants within its confines, and this company is a disrespectful travesty to all of them.
Highly incompetent service. Gave my order away and rather than come up with a solution, tried to ignore me by only talking to doordashers and facing the kitchen window, rather than reprocessing the order. Assumed I would take a cheese steak for a Mexican cuisine order 2x the size. Other customers picking up their food were also audibly upset, as they realized their orders had been sitting there after waiting 15+ mins. The shop is clearly trying to juggle too much at once and doesn’t have competent staff to run it. Do not recommend
No place to sit, but quick and efficient
Got a chicken quesadilla and chips & guac from Barrio to go
Jeez the lady at the counter was so rude and had such a bad attitude!
Love the concept. The food is frustratingly streaky. I can order the fried chicken one week and it is top restaurant quality. I can order that same chicken the next week and it is bland and undercooked. I hope they figure out how to be consistently great.
I feel horrible having to write this review. My husband and I decided to try to order from Wonder again after they reconfigured their new business model. It was a complete disaster. We ordered from Lime Salt (I know it’s all in one place now) at 6:15 PM. At the time it said 30 to 45 minutes, which is fine as we were expecting. By 730 nothing was here and the driver Had gone to mountainside and then back to Westfield. Needless to say, my husband called and talked to multiple people, they “re-fired” it and got here at 8:40pm. Supposedly, what the Wonder people said was the driver disappeared with our food??? It’s kind of what it look like on the driver map.
