Wolden Garden Centre

Sad to see the old cafe go. Now it’s just all bland bought-in sandwiches. Only jacket potato available is beans and cheese. Although the staff are friendly, constantly getting things wrong even though not busy in the slightest. One jacket potato was frozen in the centre. Overhearing lots of customer missing orders, or getting drinks orders wrong. What a shame to waste such a lovely outside setting. To be fair, staff offered a free drink next time, and refunded the potato we didn’t eat.

I hadn't been to a garden centre for a few years so I stopped in here and had breakfast before exploring the good selection of plants and other enticing things. I ended up buying a clematis montana which I hope will provide some much needed colour in the garden. Reasonably priced plants.
