Wok and Roll Karaoke

Frankly pretty bad. Very glitchy and not user-friendly software for picking Karaoke songs. Old building that has not been renovated since the early 1900s. Staff that seems most interested in extracting money from you and providing absolutely minimal service (i.e. we needed to go downstairs to ask for water) while charging 20% tip mandatorily. Charging a high tip is fine. Providing atrocious service while doing so is cheeky at best and mongrel at worst. Food also very poor.

My first time at karaoke and it was so fun! Here in this shirt video is the mini room. It was just me and my guy here. We called around 8 and requested a room. The person we spoke to was knowledgeable and was able to reserve our area for 830. Sundays has a deal where it's buy 1 hour get the second one free, so we were there until 1030. The first security guard was super funny and personable. He def set the tone for us! Which never happens. He told us where to go to check in. Once we arrived at check in, we are greeted immediately and he showed us to our room after signing the waiver. Once inside the room, he showed us how to operate everything and pulled out 2 cloth microphone covers and tested the mics to see if they were working. The room was neat and tidy. He came back almost immediately with our drinks and then took our food order. About 2 songs later, he came back with our food. The food was pretty good, although we asked for extra spice and it wasn't really that spicy. There was always someone manning the front. The girl who was always there smiled but didn't talk, but she was able to assist us and was prompt to service us. As we were leaving out, another guy came in with sanitizing spray and a trashcan to clean up after us. I would like to think they do a good job keeping things sanitary. The bathrooms were kinda crazy though. I only know of the 1 men and 1 women's bathroom upstairs. They should service them more frequently because it did look a bit messy. Overall I rate this place 5/5 on all levels (despite the bathroom). The service was amazing and the atmosphere was fun! Everyone in their rooms were living their best lives. I WILL be coming again! Hopefully very frequently. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Must be 21+ to do karaoke.

I don’t think they put any alcohol in the mixed drinks. I’m a lightweight, and after two of their kamikaze shots, a margarita, and a mai tai, I felt nothing. Not even buzzed. Also, the crab meat fried wontons were baaad. How do you mess up crab rangoons?? The menu of karaoke songs is also pretty bad, with repeated and misspelled titles and live versions shown before better karaoke versions with no indication that they’re live.
