Popped in for a coffee, very nice
The welcome to eat only in the restaurant was brilliant and the waiter (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was genuinely decent. My rating is based on, there was no visual print to say there was a 12.5% service charge. Furthermore, the roast lamb was below par for the price. "Lamb on the bone", I'd get more meat from a Toby carvery! The roast potatoes, I needed a steak knive to cut through. I can't stress, the staff were amazing but the additional unforseen costs and food quality wasn't. It was my first experience there and with the unmentionable service charge and cost of a roast dinner that wasn't upto scratch has left me to say, thank you to our table server but not likely to return.
I was an invited guest to a birthday dinner. Food, drinks and service 1st class Food & drinks: Good choice of wine and gin

We came for lunch. The soup was clearly home made and that and all other food was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and efficient and the whole building was beautifully presented. Very happy and will come back in the summer to sit outside Highly recommend
