I save at least 30% on groceries. Always competitive prices on alcohol. 4/24 update: if I'm paying this much for groceries, I would hate to think what non-discount grocers are taking.
Plenty of parking store is well has an odd layout, has lots of fresh cooked food, fair prices, you have to bag your own groceries, some unhoused, people around be careful especially at night, There Tater Wedges @1.99 a pound in prepared food are so DELICIOUS HIGHLY RECOMMEND so fresh well seasoned excellent snack or side to any meal STORE DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, CASH DEBIT CARDS ONLY
I went through the 15 items or less check out line with a small child like I often do. I am disabled so I use a cane. The lady at the self checkout African-American was extremely rude and would not give me bags for my groceries told me I had to go to another line even after I put a few groceries back because I was complying with the 15 items or less. She told me I have to put my groceries back in the carts without the bag walk over to the cashier to get the bags and walk back and pack the bags and all this with an infant! So I asked for a manager and it only got worse. After I put the items back that I was not going to purchase I was told I had to take my 15 items to another cashier and that I did not have the option to do the self checkout. I expressed that I was not going to leave this check out I had already actively started checking out my items the third manager came looked at how many items I had and still told me I had to go to another checkout. I asked for her name and she stated it was on her badge. I expressed I have bad eyesight and she the gave me her name and asked if I wanted corporates phone number. I was at the self checkout for almost 30 minutes going through what turned out to be an exhausting shopping trip. I left the store literally in tears and and felt humiliated. I thought I was going to be handcuffed for have more than 15 items! Unacceptable. Lady you have a job because of patrons like myself! The African American cashier who wears glasses continually stormed back and forth past me in an unprofessional manner and laughed. Another disabled patron expressed her disapproval and said I handled the matter very well. That the outcome would have been different had it been her. I remained hopeful that I could have this documented from the cameras in the store with customer service. The next morning when customer service opened I reached out to corporate it got even more offensive, they hung up on me and when I called again they told me I had to write a letter to their legal department that they would not respond to my concerns. And that they are enforcing the 15 items or less, that they have a right to record and document because it is private property. But that I don't have the same rights. I have been shopping at WinCo's for over 20 years. Never had a situation like this. It is an employee-owned company but they do not seem to care about their customers. The prices are great, but the customer service is terrible! Buyer beware!!!
Really disappointed. Handicap shopping carts aren't kept in one area and the walk to try to locate one is overwhelming. There's a reason I need one of those carts to shop. We won't be back.
A quick trip to buy butter @ 1.98 per lb. Last day of the sale and to pick up a couple of other things. Found everything I wanted.
Good selection at great price, although the staff becomes pretty rude about 15 minutes before they close, being super rude to any customer that walks in which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
