Best cup of decafe cappuccino I've had in a very long time
Friendly and smiley staff in a sweet little cafe. They sell the work of various local artists inside the cafe. The locally produced sourdough toastie was lovely, fresh and the fillings were generous. There were plenty of veggie options available too. It was nice to be able to sit outside in the sun and rare for a cafe in Basingstoke town center.
Vegetarian options: Cauliflower sausage rolls are unique
A lovely little coffee shop, not part of a multinational chain. Nice cakes and friendly service. Your furry friends are also welcome here. This business also gives free hot water to homeless people and deserves to prosper.
Willows is probably the nicest spot in Basingstoke town for coffee - the cakes are delicious and the hot chocolate is really good too! The staff are also always friendly and welcoming, a great little Sunday spot
Cosy and astmospheric The sofas are great to sink into. A few of the chairs underground could do with a refurb or a replace though. The padding is long worn away. But the art and deco is all very fitting Very lgbt+ friendly. The staff can choose to wear pronoun pins and unlike many other so called trans/nonbinary friendly places in basingstoke. The staff all respect each other’s identities in terms of pronouns and names/gender . Which is a small detail which always stands out to me. Totally friendly and cute. There are always adorable dogs present too. Th
the hot chocolate is delightful, but it goes downhill from there. the pastry i had was overpriced and chewy, wait times were overly long despite few other customers and the staff forgot my friends order, and didn't even apologise once they had realised
