Willow Cakes & Pastries

My daughter requests their Toblerone, peanut butter cheesecake for her birthday every year...5 or 6 years in a row now. This cake is amazing! The staff are all super friendly. I always grab cookies or bread or something when I pick up the cake and everything I have tried has all been absolutely delicious! Their pricing is very fair and reasonable. We had a really negative experience with Willow. We wanted to order our wedding cake from them as they were recommended by our venue. We went in for a tasting and were told to contact them when we were ready to sign the contract, but when we followed up we didn’t get a reply. We know things can get busy, so we waited and followed up several times through both email and phone over the course of a couple months, but we never got any responses. To not get any reply at all when we were about to finalize the contract is really upsetting and unprofessional. While we had initially been happy with the tasting and were excited to order from Willow, we’re extremely disappointed with our experience.

We stopped here because my daughter was working on a film in Niagara on the Lake and the film staff all went here a few years ago. The croissants were delish, the ambiance lovely, Hope to go there again soon.

The best description I can give this bakery is: Expensive Garbage!!! We bought a small chocolate cake, I mean really small, 4". It was $20.00. I talked my wife into buying, she said it was too expensive. I thought with the great reviews, it looks so pretty and if it's that expensive, then it must be good! right? Wrong!!! We took it home on Saturday afternoon and tried it that night. It was completely dry and stale, must have been there for several days. It tasted horrible, I suspect even if it was fresh, it probably wasn't that great. I threw the whole thing out after eating one bite. If I didn't live so far away, I would have returned to the bakery to complain. Shame on this bakery for selling something like this, so disappointed! Not recommended at all!!!

This is a cute little coffee shop with baked goods. Nice selection of sweets, cakes, cookies and muffins. They also have savory baked goods such as regular bread and meat pies.

We had muffins, bagels, and more. They were all so fresh and delicious. We couldn’t believe how reasonable priced they were! I would highly recommend checking this cafe out when in the area. They also have a huge selection of sweet and savory things to choose from.
