This has been our go to in spokane for over 15 years. The menu changes from time to time but the consistency of wonderful food and great service never changes. Always love going here even if it’s an only “once a year place”. Good food doesn’t come cheaply. We’ve tried a lot of the newer places in Spokane over the past 5 years and we keep coming back to Wild Sage. Also, always recommend Shaun as a waiter and this is a place it’s definitely good to make a reservation for. Dietary restrictions: They have a strictly gluten free section of the kitchen and cater to almost any allergy. Just call and let them know.
Ended up here per the recommendation of another restaurant after they had an unplanned early closing. I called to make sure they were open and Trevor was so kind of verify everything would be great. Upon arriving I sat at the bar where I had amazing service from McKenzie. The whole staff is great, the chefs checked on my food, and I even found out Sean was from my hometown. It was so great I went in 3 nights total while I was in town, and had the bartender Alex take care of me the third night, she was also fabulous! The food is awesome, the plating is Devine, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommend. Also I got a recommendation for a brewery here and it was far more than I could have hoped for being in the beer industry. I will be back when I’m back in town again!
The food was absolutely delicious! While there were a lot of appealing options, I went with the wagyu burger & it delivered on flavor and aroma. Loved the garlic fries, though they were heavy on the salt. The pork belly & taquitos were a great choice for apps! Non-alcoholic beverage options were creative & tasty! Our friends had the shrimp dish & lamb osso buco (no bone marrow); they loved their meals. The service was good, but not of fine dining caliber; for example, there was no intro upon arriving at the table or discussion of the specials though she pointed us to the menu & the check-ins throughout the meal lacked. Still, she was friendly, our food came out on time, and we moved through the meal without any hitches. Vegetarian options: There were at least five vegetarian/vegan options including three entrees.
Wild Sage Bistro was far more excellent than I anticipated! I had a good feeling, but the website does not effectively capture how great this place is! We had the pork belly app, the duck, and the salmon...what an amazing combo prepared perfectly! The drinks are top notch as well! We will be back every time we visit Spokane!
My husband and I went out on a Monday night for a date. I called half an hour before to make reservations and they still took me . The waiter was super friendly. The special soup of clam and salmon was so delicious. I had the lamb shank and it was so filfilling. My husband for the tempeh dish and it was so healthy. We go the coconut cake and it was perfect. Highly recommend them and for all vegan people out there .
