Very Pretentious!!! Always. Been several times.. they call it Happy Hour? Classic cocktails? No listings.. making u ask what is that? Need
List of what that really means??? It’s not the Specialty cocktails on menu.. Atmosphere is STUFFY.. LATTITUDS is a very relaxed.. good Happy Hour. Wild Ginger.. .expensive!! Rolls were 14.00 / now over 20.00 for 6 pieces..,
Much better places to dine that u can relax!!!!
They r supported by the wealthy in the area..
The tables for 2 on inside are very close to next table.. no privacy!
The server was super nice, personable, and helpful. Seating was a little tight, and it got a little loud. The food was so good. Bacon wrapped scallops, fresh sushi, teriyaki shrimp. All great! Only negatives were the expensive drinks and no knife with the place setting. You'll have to ask for one if you don't want an overly full mouth.
The food presentation was beautiful, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Lucy was our server. My party ordered the extra ordinary roll, lamb chops, sunshine shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops & calamari. The lamb chops and sunshine shrimp were a favorite. We give the atmosphere a 4 because of the proximity of tables.
Honestly, the use of fake crab everywhere is getting tiresome. But please, Wild Ginger, tell me why you served me a "shrimp tempura" roll with no shrimp (except one piece with the tail) and fake crab instead. Trash.
Service was fine, but the server seemed rushed and flustered. Outdoor patio was nice. But fake crab is on the level of Sushi King. For the cost of this place, the chicken nugget of seafood shouldn't ever be used.
Many thanks to Sydney for allowing us to sit at the table that we requested. Parker was on it like a bonnet and John did an excellent job presenting our bottle of champagne.

A truly enjoyable place to dine. They have an Asian menu with an excellent wine list. The wait staff is attentive and the food is excellent and bountiful. I added shrimp to my dish for $3.00 expecting to see 3 or 4 shrimp on top, instead there must have been a dozen pieces of shrimp spread throughout the dish. I was pleasantly surprised. I plan to make this a regular stop on "date night".
The food was phenomenal. Staff was great, clean restaurant. Definitely would recommend this!
I moved to the Richmond area about two years ago and I am a serious foodie. I have visited over 100 places in the RVA and Wild Ginger without question is the BEST. The variety, flavor of the food and amazing staff make it the perfect location.
