Big girl with the glasses aka ms cash or card was very rude and made an announcement when I said I didn’t want to pay $12 for 3rd party short cake in a plastic cup, food lacked flavor and depth, slick nasty and extremely over priced…lesson learned today…good luck being rude to ppl. key to business is how you make ppl feel and that ain’t it
they forgot my carrot cake.
Dressing was to sweet, mac n cheese was ok needed seasoning. Wouldn't recommend If you truly love soul food.
Baby, save your time and your dime and keep rolling. That food ain't it!! Over priced, over rated.... ♀️ ♀️ ♀️
My Mom was craving soul food so we ordered from here & she said the food was DELICIOUS! (Didnt leave a bite on her plate - even the yellow cakebwith chocolate frosting, she devoured it all immediately!) As a Vegan I can't quite rate the menu but I really came to rave about the excellent customer service. They were extremely helpful and caring, just wanted to mention the cashier Mark & the polite security guard (didn't get his name)... it's sadly rare to find kind people in businesses in Georgia, so the quality of service stood out to me. Highly recommend them if you eat soul food.
This restaurant is ok for soul food, not the best, but most definitely not the worst. I ordered the rib tips, and they were fairly good, but I'm not a big meat eater. I normally order a veggie plate. The mac and cheese was better this time for me, cabbage was ok, but the black eye peas, rice and gravy were delicious. I'm not a fan of the sweet potatoes either. You have to try different veggies to see what you like best. The inside is really small so if it's crowed you will stand outside. Service is pretty fast, so no long wait for your food.
We have been eating at this location for years and have never had a bad meal. The Duluth is also one of my favorites. My go to favorite meal is the turkey wings with rice, gravy, black eye peas and collard greens (cooked with turkey). I also normally get a veggie plate. I swear the peach cobbler should be awarded a gold medal ( ) We have referred and taken a number of friend's families and colleagues, to WGS, and they love the food and service. One of the best soul food restaurants in Georgia. I will be eating there for Easter.
Customer Service is awful... Staff is rude and unprofessional. It's simple read what on the ticket place what's on ticket in the bag. Hand the bag to customer. Dont't tell the customer you know you order a drink you should have ask for it.. It your job to make sure each order goes out properly. I understand good help is hard to find now. Training is mandatory for survival.
