Popped in for a Sunday drink & ended up eating after seeing a carvery was on offer. The pub is good for families with an indoor bit for the kiddies as well as a park outside. Ideal if you have just been to the farm across the road & have hungry little people who still have lots of energy & you don't want to cook.

Worst meal ever asked for a steak medium to well done came raw sent it back cut into it again still the same

Only one member of staff serving behind the bar a lot of people waiting to order food and drinks we waited over ten minutes before being served at the bar

We had excellent service, the food was lovely and had no problems with altering some meals due to having fussy children. Lovely outdoor area and lots of colouring and making easter stuff for the children to do whilst waiting for food. The staff were excellent. Definitely would go again.

Not a good experience as I ordered a vegetarian pie but was given a chicken pie, which only became clear when I started eating. Apparently the order was correct but it was mixed up in the kitchen. I see that management responds to comments on here so please improve your checks around meals listed as vegetarian/vegan. Otherwise the food and service for our party was good. Vegetarian options: Mix up in the kitchen resulted in my "vegetarian" pie containing chicken.

Marvelous, very good, lovely staff

A nice relaxed atmosphere when we got there. The staff were friendly and we caught up with a lot of history about the surrounding area from the manager; lovely bloke. Despite not being able to order the fish due to the fryer's being turned off!!! The burger was quite tasty. There was plenty of entertainment (pool table, darts, etc.), and it is dog friendly.
